When I questioned the policy of not paying back the difference in the cost of the accommodation, I was told "we can offer you a refund of £70 at least as a good will gesture even though we didn’t get any refund from our supplier". I was eventually told that I could get a different hotel that I thought looked ok (albeit cheaper than what I originally booked). He kept saying that I hadn't booked a package holiday, and that the individual parts were subject to change/ availability and if I didn't like the look of the hotels, then maybe I should look for my own. When i questioned how this could happen, the person I was speaking to was extremely rude and not empathetic. I was also sent, some hotels to look at all of which were substandard or looked to be too far away from the location we originally looked at. I was promised callbacks at specific times which weren't followed up. On Friday the 20th Feb, I received an email saying that the hotel needed to be changed. I was told that I would be looking at a one bed apartment with a sea/ pool view, and received a booking confirmation on the 6th February. I was initially put-off by the fact that the price on the website was for the studio room, and didn't include extra baggage or transfers, but got talked into booking with teletext holidays and booked a hotel, flight, and transfers (with extra baggage). I started looking at my summer holiday back in January, initially contacting teletext holidays as I needed some clarification and found the website wasn't clear. Honestly some of the worst customer service I have encountered
